Welcome to Box Barn - Your Home for Group Accommodation in the Heart of Monmouthshire

Hello! We’re Nick and Caroline, your hosts here at Box Barn - a place we’ve lovingly created for people to come together, unwind, and enjoy the beauty of the Welsh countryside. Whether you're reconnecting with family, celebrating with friends, or planning a team getaway, we’ve designed Box Barn to be flexible, fun, and full of charm.

Tucked away just outside Raglan, our peaceful site is set up like a little village, with a mix of comfortable spaces to sleep, cook, and socialise. The main barn offers a touch of rustic luxury, the cosy bunkhouse brings everyone together in a fun, informal setting, and the glamping yurts let you sleep under the stars in comfort. There’s plenty of space to spread out - or gather in - with outdoor seating, a hot tub, fire pit, and even a bar for those golden evenings that turn into late-night stories.

We’re especially passionate about food, and you’ll find loads of ways to get cooking here - from a well-equipped kitchen and pizza oven to a firepit and BBQ. Whether you’re here for a feast or a fireside chat, you’ll find a space that suits the moment.

But Box Barn isn’t just about the accommodation - it’s about the experience. Families love the freedom for kids to explore safely, while groups of friends can make the most of the space for games, sports, and shared meals. We welcome milestone celebrations, multi-generational family gatherings, work retreats and reunions, all looking for a unique spot in South Wales where memories are made.

Our location makes us a fantastic base for exploring Monmouthshire. Just 15 minutes from Abergavenny and 20 from Monmouth, you’ll find the Brecon Beacons, the Black Mountains, and miles of walking, cycling, and foodie trails right on your doorstep. From castles and markets to cosy pubs, vineyards and local producers, there’s no shortage of adventures.

What started as a dream to create somewhere warm and welcoming has grown into Box Barn - a retreat that reflects our love of nature, community, and good company. We’re proud to share it with you and can’t wait to welcome you, hear your stories, and be part of the memories you’ll make here.
